Nancy, Yoga Alliance registered E-RYT 200, has studied yoga over eight years. She has been teaching a power style Vinyasa practice for five years. She holds additional certifications with Karen Safire for Restorative and with Biff Mithoefer for Yin. Nancy recently founded NARAM, a RYS 200 yoga teacher-training program. She also teaches meditation.

Her yoga journey began when fate intervened and she won a three-month membership to a yoga studio. In true Nancy style, she jumped in with both feet, literally and figuratively; attending classes seven days a week for the entire three months. The rest is yoga history. What began as a physical workout to find killer abs has evolved to include meditation and mindfulness. It was quite the trip from abs to Oms! That journey brought her to a place where teaching fellow yogis became her passion and she has devoted the past five years to enthusiastically spreading her yoga message. Nancy leads a vigorous vinyasa class that she often likens to a choreographed dance; finding fluidity and gracefulness in the flow.  Her instruction is clear, concise and informative. She believes in mindful intelligent alignment, powerful poses, creative sequencing and the inherent joy of the practice. The experience isn’t complete until the student feels like they got exactly what they needed from the class .A student should leave Nancy’s class feeling a little ooh there’s my muscles and a little ahh there’s my heart!
